NAVY
Lockheed Martin, Mission Systems and Sensors, Eagan, Minn., is being awarded a $758,184,400 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-fee, and cost reimbursable contract line item numbers for the design, production, installation and support of Technical Insertion-12 and Technical Insertion -14 hardware which includes display, workstation, processors and network systems used in mission critical and mission essential host systems currently installed on Navy submarines. The Program Executive Office Submarine Technology Insertion Hardware architecture will provide a modular framework of processors and display computer resources consisting of consoles, card cages, high resolution monitors, large-screen displays, and associated peripherals. The hardware equipment will interface with local area networks and use a combination of commercial and Navy interface standards. Work will be performed in Eagan, Minn. (99 percent), and Johnstown, Pa. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by June 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Defense Support Services, LLC, Mount Laurel, N.J., is being awarded a $39,915,868 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for organizational level maintenance with limited intermediate level maintenance on current and future assigned aircraft in support of the Naval Test Wing Pacific at Point Mugu and China Lake Naval Air Stations. Work will be performed in China Lake, Calif. (79 percent), and Point Mugu, Calif. (21 percent), and is expected to be completed in August 2012.
